Alex was born and raised in Slagelse, Denmark along with his family members and siblings. His father’s name is Thomas Andersen and his mother is Charlotte Hogh.  He has a younger sister named Alia. 

Career and Achievements

Having been fond of acting and photography ever since a child, Alex decided to pursue a career in photography and acting. Initially, he enrolled at the University of Copenhagen for Film and Media Studies. After completing the course, he went into acting and debuted with a miniseries named “Outsider”. 

His performance on the show awarded him with more shows and some films such as Tvillingerne & Julemanden, Hedensted High, A War, Big Hero 6, and Et Bånd Mellem Mennekser. Alex’s major fame came in 2016 when he was cast in “Vikings” in the role of Ivar the Boneless. His work in the show honored him with several awards and nominations.
