Initially, she wrote popular stories such as Rumiantes, Riann, Ciencia Succión, Ediciones Cielo Naranja, Cuentos y poemas, and Amigo del Hogar. with rising fame as a story writer, she released her first novel “La estrategia de Chochueca in 2000. It is the part of her trilogy of “La trilogía de niñas locas” with other two novels Papi of 2015 and Nombres y Animales 2013. Her recent novel was “Made in Saturn, And Other Stories”. 
• Besides this, Rita in 2000 began her musical career with her debut single “Altar Epandex in duo with Miti Miti”. The single was commercially successful and provided fame to her. Subsequently, she released several popular singles such as “El Blu del Ping Pong”, “El Juidero”, “Maldito Feisbu”, “La Hora de Volve”, “El Juidero”, “Como un ladrón en la Noche”, and more. Rita’s novel “La mucama de Omic Allé” was nominated for the Premio Bienal de Novela Mario Vargas Llosa.
