Her childhood was very strict and had to follow many rules like getup at 4 a.m and maintaining time table for study. Her mother’s used to tell her if she does not study then she will get married.

She completed her higher secondary with Biology. Pushpam’s family wanted her to become a Doctor but she was not interested in becoming a Doctor. Later she told her family that she wants to study Communication Design and went to Pune, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for the study. She was very interested in Extra-Curricular Activity.
She told in an Interview with The Lallantop that the 4 years in Pune was very tough for her as she comes from Bihar she has to face discrimination. She said when you are in Bihar you won’t fill anything but when you go out of Bihar in India people start discrimination. In Pune, her Flate mate do not use to like her because she belongs from Bihar.
