Career and Achievements
O’Neal used to play basketball for Windward School at the forward position. His highlight videos made him earn immense recognition and also appeared in The Washington Post. In the year 2015, Shareef received a scholarship offer from USC and it was his first ever from NCAA Division I program. He received many other offers in the following months.
On June 29, 2016, the Los Angeles Times revealed that Shareef would transfer to Crossroads School in Santa Monica. O’Neal made his UCLA debut in the 2019-20 season opener. Furthermore, on 14th December, 2019, he had his best game of the season with eight points and a career high 11 rebounds in a loss against Notre Dame. On February 2020, he announced his plans to transfer to LSU. Overall, Shareef has done really well in his career but there’s still a lot to be achieved.
