Sivakarthikeyan made his career in acting through the Tamil film Marina, as he played the role of Senthilnathan. He was interested in acting since his college days. He used to perform standup comedy and take part in various events during his college days. He started his career as a mimicry artist.
In 2013, he was featured in three movies. In 2014, he appeared in a comedy film Maan Karate which was produced by A R Murugadoss. In 2015 he was featured in an action film Kaikki Satti and this film was released on 27 February 2015. in 2016 he appeared in a Tamil film, Remo. In 2017, he appeared in the movie Velaikkaran. In 2018 he appeared in the movie Seemaraja. In 2019 he was featured in drama Namma Veettu Pillai.
