The upcoming 2024 tour dates for Foo Fighters in the UK will mark their most extensive trek in the country since the release of their highly acclaimed album, But Here We Are, which debuted at number 1 on the UK charts. This achievement made it the sixth Foo Fighters album to achieve such success and garnered extremely positive reviews from critics.
Last year, the band had to cancel their planned UK concerts following the tragic passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins. However, during their performance at Worthy Farm on the Pyramid Stage, frontman Dave Grohl teased a forthcoming UK tour, which has now been officially confirmed.
Villa Park, a venue known for hosting major music acts such as P!nk and Bruce Springsteen, will be the location for the final show of the six-date tour. The tour will commence in Emirates Old Trafford (cricket ground) in Manchester on Thursday, June 13, followed by Hampden Park in Glasgow on Monday, June 17. The band will then play at London Stadium on Thursday, June 20, and Saturday, June 22.
On Tuesday, June 25, they will perform at Principality Stadium in Cardiff before concluding the tour at Villa Park in Birmingham on Thursday, June 27. Each show will feature a variety of support acts.

Who are Foo Fighters?
Foo Fighters is an American rock band formed in 1994 by Dave Grohl, the former drummer of the iconic band Nirvana. After the tragic death of Nirvana’s frontman Kurt Cobain, Grohl decided to pursue his own musical career and started Foo Fighters as a one-man project, handling vocals, guitar, and most of the instruments on the band’s self-titled debut album released in 1995.
Since then, Foo Fighters has evolved into a full-fledged band with a consistent lineup, featuring Dave Grohl on vocals and guitar, Nate Mendel on bass, Taylor Hawkins on drums, Chris Shiflett on guitar, and Pat Smear on guitar.
Foo Fighters’ music is characterized by their energetic and melodic rock sound, drawing influence from various genres including alternative rock, grunge, and punk. They are known for their catchy hooks, powerful guitar riffs, and Grohl’s distinctive vocals. The band has achieved significant commercial success with numerous chart-topping albums and hit singles.
Over the years, Foo Fighters have released several critically acclaimed albums, including “The Colour and the Shape” (1997), “There Is Nothing Left to Lose” (1999), “One by One” (2002), “Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace” (2007), and “Wasting Light” (2011), among others. They have received multiple Grammy Awards and have established themselves as one of the most successful and influential rock bands of the modern era.
